Get the goods at this year's Breakers Pontiac Sports Expo starting Friday, May 19!
The Breakers Pontiac Sports Expo, the largest health and fitness exposition of its kind, kicks off the weekend of festivities surrounding the Examiner Bay to Breakers. During your visit sign up for the race at Late Registration, pick up your official race T-shirt, and carb-up at the Breakers Pasta Dinner. But the fun doesn't stop there. Visit the Expo to view, sample and purchase the wares of more than 100 exhibitors. The Expo is open to the public and admission is free.

You want prizes? We've got prizes... and more! The Breakers Pontiac Sports Expo also has seminars, music and hourly giveaways.

This year we are excited to introduce the all new Expo Passport Program. Simply visit all of the exhibitor booths listed on the passport, getting stamped at each destination. Once you have it filled just drop it off at the designated location and you're eligible to win hourly prizes including:

  • A Laser eye surgery from Optima
  • A two hour ride in the KGO helicopter during the morning or afternoon traffic report
  • A $100 gift certificate from GNC
  • Southwest Airlines Goodie Bags, including a $25 gift certificate

    While you're filling out your passport stop by the Pontiac booth to find out how to enter to win a $3,000 shopping spree at Lombardi Sports, and lots of other great prizes (You must be a registered runner to participate). Fly to the Southwest Airlines booth and enter to win a pair of tickets to anywhere they travel. Before you leave Expo be sure to run by the Zing.com booth to pose for an action photo and enter to win a digital camera.

    The basics
    This year's Breakers Pontiac Sports Expo will be held on Friday, May 19 (11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) and Saturday, May 20 (9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium at 99 Grove St. (between Polk and Larkin streets) in San Francisco. More than 50,000 consumers visit the Expo annually to view, sample and purchase the wares of more than 90 exhibitors. Admission is free.

    How To Get There
    Bill Graham Civic Auditorium is located at 99 Grove Street, San Francisco CA 94102

    From San Francisco International Airport: Exit airport "North on Interstate 101" then follow directions below. There are also several services available to transport you between the San Francisco International Airport (SF0) and downtown SF: SFO Airporter/415-495-8404; SuperShuttle 415-558-8500; or SamTrans 817-1717;. For more information on ground access transportation to and from SF0 call 1-800-SF0-2008.

    North on Interstate 101: Take the civic Center exit to 9th Street. Travel north on 9th. This street turns into Larkin Street as it crosses Market Street. Take Larkin one block to Grove Street. Turn left on Grove. Bill Graham Auditorium is on your left.

    Via the Bay Bridge: Take the Civic Center exit to 9th Street. Travel north on 9th. This street turns into Larkin Street as it crosses Market Street. Take Larkin one block to Grove Street. Turn left on Grove. Bill Graham civic Auditorium is on your left.

    Via the Golden Gate Bridge: Take the Lombard Street exit to Van Ness Avenue. Turn right on Van Ness and travel south to Grove Street. This will be approximately two miles. Turn left on Grove Street. Bill Graham Civic Auditorium is on your right.

    Via Bart, Muni or Metro: Exit at the Civic Center station. Once in the station, exit to the U.N. Plaza. Once in the plaza, walk to Hyde Street. Turn left half a block onto Grove Street. Continue two blocks on Grove. Bill Graham Civic Auditorium is on your left.

    Via CalTrain: From the Caltrain Station (Fourth & Townsend). Across Fourth Street from the station, catch the #42 bus. The bus will eventually proceed to and along Van Ness Avenue. Disembark at Van Ness and Hayes Streets. Walk West on Hayes (away from Van Ness). Turn left on Polk St. and right on Grove St. Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on your right.

    Pasta Party!
    Everyone is invited to carb-up and groove to the sounds of Ledisi with Anibade at the Breakers Pasta Party on Saturday May 20, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It's only $7.95 for adults and $5.95 for kids. Music, food, the Breakers Pontiac Sports Expo, and a whole lot of fun!
